COMPANY HISTORY

Our business first commenced on 31 August 1989 as a private limited company entitled Tai Loong Food Industries (M) Sdn. Bhd. under the management of Mr. Lim Cheah Keong AMP.

With over 26 years of established experience and reputation, Tai Loong has become one of the premier and longest established biscuit manufacturer in Malaysia. Since then, the fast expanding of the company has grown to be one of the prominent biscuit factory in the country and product exquisite and wide range of excellent quality product.

From the earlier days, when only a few hundred pieces of biscuit could be produced manually every day with a workforce of only few workers, it’s now able to churn out few thousands of pieces in 1 hour with fully-automatic and semi-automatic machine. However, there are some stages whereby the biscuit have to be produce by manpower and the baking temperature being closely monitored.

Our business is involved in manufacturing of variety butter cookies, pineapple tarts and traditional kuih kapit. While it has been successfully marketed domestically through Tai Loong’s own wide and comprehensive distribution network. Our biscuit are marketed under our own brand name and also OEM for other brands.

All products now available in major foreign hypermarket, local market, minimarket and Muslims groceries throughout the country. Thus, we are going to expand our company by exporting our product to other foreign country.
